Anthony "Shane" Cox

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Anthony “Shane” Cox, age 41, of Swainsboro, GA, on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Emanuel Medical Center.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home, from 10-11 AM. They also request any friends and family to bring photos, memorabilia, memories, and stories to the funeral home to share with the family in memory of “Shane” Cox.

Shane was born February 5, 1980, in Augusta, GA to Brenda Love Brossman, and was the project manager at Clearwater Solutions in Swainsboro, GA. Shane enjoyed watching movies, listening to music, playing the guitar, and cars. He was a great cook and grill master, and was preceded in death by his loving step-father, Jamie Brossman.

Son: Lane Cox of Martinez, GA

Mother: Brenda Love Brossman of Newton, GA

Sisters: Tonya Cox and April Cox (Kiwaski Roseborough) both of Newton, GA
