Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Allan Arthur Malone, age 45, of Treutlen County on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Meadows Regional Hospital in Vidalia, GA.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at 3:00 PM, in The First United Methodist Church in Swainsboro with Rev. David Unkles officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service, from 2:00 until 3:00 PM.

Interment will be private.

Pallbearers are:  Bill Lindsey, Kevin Carter, Stephen Rushing, Blake Thompson, Mark Thompson and Josh Thompson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Officers and Employees of the Department of Community Supervision. 

Mr. Malone was born in Jesup, Wayne County, GA on October 21, 1972.  He graduated from Swainsboro High School and Georgia College and State University; loved Golf and was an avid UGA Bulldog fan.  Mr. Malone was an Agent in Tri Circuit Drug Task Force; Officer of Swainsboro Police Force; Investigator for Sunshine House; Investigator for Middle Circuit District Attorney’s Office; Special Agent in U. S. Secret Service, including Personal Protection for President Jimmy Carter; Outfitter for Flat Creek Lodge; and currently an Officer in Georgia Department of Community Supervision.  He was predeceased by his father, Rick Malone; his Grandparents, Dr. Carter L. Meadows (Josephine) and Denise Auld Shepherd; Grandparents, Art and Mary Malone.

Survivors include:

His Fiancée:  Debbie Peebles Rushing of Treutlen County

One Daughter:  Ansley Alexis Malone of Statesboro, GA

His Mother:  Diana Meadows Malone of Treutlen County

One Brother:  Andrew Carter Malone (Jennifer) of Collins, GA

Four Nieces, Several Aunts and Uncles and extended family.
