Alecia (Peebles) Minton

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Ms. Alecia Peebles Minton, age 65, of Metter, GA, on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

Graveside services will be Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the Swainsboro City Cemetery with Rev. Josh Black officiating.

Ms. Minton, Alecia, was born December 28, 1957, in Swainsboro, Emanuel County, GA, to the late Bob Ray and Betty West Peebles. She was a 1975 graduate of Swainsboro High School, attended Brenau University in Atlanta, GA and received her LPN Degree from Swainsboro Technical College. Alecia enjoyed the outdoors working in her garden and going to the beach. She was a member of Swainsboro First United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her parents.

Sons: Jason Minton (Amand) of Canton, GA and Zachary Minton (Nikki) of Kite, GA.

Sisters: Jennifer Peebles Kuja (Zdenek) of St. Simons Island, GA and Angelia Peebles Sconyers of Swainsboro, GA.

Brother: Jeffery Peebles (Starr) of Swainsboro, GA.

Grandchildren: Meyer Minton and Maris Minton of Canton, GA.

Nieces, nephews and extended family.
