I wish I had known him. My dad's middle name was Reddish, his mother was married to Otis Claude Reddish. My dad was born in 1915 so he is a little older. I am sending my sincere condolences to the family.

Debbie and Cel, I’m so sorry. You had the best dad ever. I remember when he was our principal, and I got to school late, and he just gave me the late slip, no lecture, no detention, just understanding.  It was a small kindness, but almost 50 years later, it’s still remembered. Lucky I got to talk with him just last month on the phone when I was calling Debbie to get her on our “Class of ‘71” FaceBook page.  He seemed like he remembered me, and whether he did or not, he made me feel like he did!  God, he was so adorable, so cute, so funny.  You all know exactly what I mean. Of all the leaders of Swainsboro High School, he was my favorite and always will be. His memory is a blessing to everyone who knew him.
