I am saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Shot. I was always fond of Jean and him.  I will especially remember the times that he and Mrs. Jean had with my mom and dad at the Exchange Club dinners and the suppers that my parents hosted.  Treasure the memories.

Shot was a great friend to many within the Probation Division of GDC and provided excellent leadership for many years. He brought a common sense type of management that was well respected by everyone he came into contact with in the Criminal Justice system. My deep condolences to his family upon his passing into the kingdom of heaven.

Life is for living; he lived it well;
And you can bet Shot had stories to tell.
Raised up in hard times, he persevered;
Struggles taught lessons he carried all his years.
One-of-a-kind, Shot grew up to be
No stranger to his community.
Committed to his beloved country
Shot gave his best while serving in its army.
Home again, he worked without pause
On many a project or community cause.
To make this world a much better place,
Such is the talent with which he was graced.
Those who knew him were blessed to see
Rare embodiment of the best in humanity;
A man among men, his legend will tell
Never-ending tales of the life he lived well.
God's called him home, but still he remains
Etched on our hearts - our beloved Shot Strange.
