Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Irvin Harrison Beasley, age 75, of Swainsboro, GA on Friday, October 06, 2017 at his residence.

Funeral services will be Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bert Flanders and Elder Tommy Rountree officiating.

Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6-8 PM.

Pallbearers are Jeremy Turner, Aaron Hammond, Koty Royal, Dylan Royal, Nik Bedgood, Kevin Gamiza, Randy Olliff and Jonathan Olliff.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Beasley, Leroy Wilson, Richard Herndon, and Earl Barwick.

Mr. Beasley was born January 28, 1942, in Swainsboro, Emanuel County, GA, to the late James Harrison and Estelle Johnson Beasley. He was a carpenter by trade and was employed by B. E. & K. Construction for many years. Mr. Beasley was a member of the Spring Hill Baptist Church, and in addition to his parents, was preceded in death by his sister, Avis Cribbs; brother, Franklin Beasley and step-daughter, Donna Olliff.

Survivors include:

His wife of 53 years: Martha Hall Beasley of Swainsboro, GA.

Three Daughters: Wanda Turner (Mike), Becky Royal (Ronnie) all of Swainsboro, GA and Missy Beasley of Twin City, GA.

One Son: James Beasley (Cathy) of Swainsboro, GA.

One Sister: Melba Kersey, (Jim) of Bluffton, SC.

One Brother: Andy Beasley (Melanie) of Normantown, GA.

11 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
