Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. John M. Watson, age 60, of Midville, GA on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at his residence.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Midville First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Ray Freeman officiating.

Interment will be in the  Midville City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5-7 PM

Mr. Watson will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers are  Annon Forehand, Bob Forehand, Jon Wyatt, Joe Earls, John Bunn and Steve Bunn

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Ogeechee Steel Employees.

Mr. Watson was born in Millen, Jenkins County, GA was a 1971 graduate of Swainsboro High School and was a welder with Ogeechee Steel.  He was a member of the Midville First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his father William Clinton Watson and brother, Thomas Edward "Tom" Watson.

Survivors include:

His Wife: Donna Willis Watson of  Midville, GA

His Mother: Mary Jane Pierce Watson of Swainsboro, GA

Three Brothers: William "Billy" Watson, Jack Andy Watson (Fran) all of Midville, GA and Robert C. "Bobby" Watson (Susie) of Nunez, GA

Several nieces,  nephews and extended family
