Dear Debbie, Ida Mae, Donna and the rest of the family,

It is with deep sorrow that we heard of Dillon's death. It was just two weeks ago that we talked with him about his job and how much he enjoyed it.

We think back on the time that we got him to help us lay sod in our yard and think how time has passed. He was so young back then.

Only time heals such wounds and this wound will take a long time to heal. May your faith in God strengthen you and may you rest easy knowing that he is in the arms of Jesus.

Please accept my deepest condolences at the loss of Dillon. Dillon was a wonderful young man that I had the pleasure of knowing and teaching at East Georgia State College. He was a joy to have in class and always kept me smiling. I pray that you will be comforted by knowing that he is at peace.

My heart goes out to you and your family during this tragic time. I was so shocked when I heard. I have so many fond memories of you and Dillon and all the boys from Troop 205. It was such a pleasure to be a part of his life. I will always remember his devilish grin when he was up to playing a joke, and his kind heart toward his family and fellow scouts. I could always see his love for you in his eyes. You should be so proud to have raised such a wonderful son. May his memories and happiness stay in your heart and ease your pain.

With love, Alison
