Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Martha W. Watson, age 86, of Swainsboro, GA  on Friday, February, 1, 2013 at the Emanuel Medical Center.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Calvary United Methodist Church with Rev. Nick Hazelton officiating.

Mrs. Watson will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.

Entombment will be in the  Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6-8 PM.

Pallbearers are Trent Wilson, Brock Wilson, Michael Wilson, David Wilson, Jeremy Faircloth, Ben Faircloth, Crandall Ryles and Jeremy Stone.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Womens Tuesday Morning Bible Study members.

Mrs. Watson was a native of Greer, SC and lived most of her life in Swainsboro, GA.  After retiring as supervisor from Argo Mills she was a seamstress with Dolores and Woody Shops.  Mrs. Watson was a  member of the Calvary United Methodist Church where she participated in many church activities, UMW, Womens Tuesday Morning Bible Study, Sunday School and kept the Childrens Nursery for many years. She enjoyed and was committed to helping others through mission trips. Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her husband, Riley Watson.

Survivors include:

One Daughter: Karen Faircloth (Danny Wayne) of Swainsboro, GA

Two Sons: Donny Wilson (Sharon) of Swainsboro, GA  and Craig Wilson (Cecilia) of Dublin, GA

One Sister: Stella Dill of Chesapeake Bay, VA

Eight Grandchildren: Tasha Ryles (Crandall), Trent Wilson (Ashley), Brock Wilson (Amanda), Michael Wilson (Renae), David Wilson, Anna Wilson, Jeremy Faircloth (Jessica) and Ben Faircloth (Shana)

Mrs. Martha was such a sweet woman. I enjoyed working with her and also knowing her as a friend and church worker. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
