Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Martha Hall Grimes, age 83, of Twin City, GA on Friday, November 9. 2012 at her residence after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 12, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Randall Smith and Elder Tommy Rountree officiating.

Interment will be in the  Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Garfield, GA.

The family will receive friends Monday, November 12, 2012 from 12:00 noon until time of service.

Pallbearers will be family.

Mrs. Grimes was born in Meeks, GA, was a homemaker and was a member of the Twin City Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband; Rollin Grimes, parents; William Shade and Mattie Mae Wilson Hall.

Survivors include:

One Daughter: Martha Ann Wilkinson (Bob) of Twin City, GA

One Son: John Grimes (Gayle) of Glennville, GA

Three Sisters: Maxie Groce  and Travis Seares both of Dublin, GA and Nancy Clarke (Jim)of Lyons, GA

Four Grandchildren: Scott Wilkinson (Joy), Amy Wilkinson, Kim Grimes and Traci Albanna (Mark)

Six Great-Grandchildren

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. We haven't seen her in quite a while, but we remember her and your Dad when we would have insurance get togethers. Wayne, worked with Independent Life with Mr. Rollin. We really had some good times back then. May God give all of you peace and comfort at this time and the days ahead.
