Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. James “Hunter” Caraway, age 20, of Swainsboro, GA, on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at Emanuel Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Lamar Kersey officiating.
Interment will follow in the Caraway Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday, November 18, 2019.
Pallbearers are Richard Mosley, Will Boatright, Brandon Oglesby, Chuck Wimberly, and Blake Lee
Honorary Pallbearers will be his Swainsboro High School Classmates
Mr. Caraway was born October 24, 1999 in Swainsboro, Emanuel County, GA. He was very outgoing and friendly. Hunter touched many lives and was special in so many ways. He was known by him waving the sign “deuces”. Hunter loved computers and technology. Sheriff J. Tyson Stephens made him an Honorary Deputy of the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office. He was a recipient of a Disney World trip with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He was predeceased by his mother, Ruby Caraway.

His Aunts and Uncles: Jerry Caraway (Libby) of Swainsboro, GA, Darrell Caraway (Michelle) of Kite, GA
His Cousins who were like Brothers and Sisters: Austin Oglesby, Brandon Oglesby, Alexa Caraway, and Emerson Franklin.
