Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of James Edward Akridge age 41 on June 29, 2010 at the Emanuel Medical Center after a brief illness.
Funeral services are Friday July 2, 2010 at 11AM in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bunny Hudson officiating.
Interment will be in Eastbrook Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Durden-Hudson Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6 – 8 PM.
Pallbearers are Wendell Walden, Andy Dixon, Tony Sweat, Dwain Sweat, Donnie Sweat, and Ray Sweat.
Mr. Akridge was a native of Washington County and a Nazarene by Profession of Faith. He was disabled and a former self employed truck driver.

His Mother and Step-Father: Claudette & Buddy Brown of Swainsboro, GA.
His Father: H.L. Akridge of Swainsboro, GA.
His Brother & Sister-in-Law: Lewis and Amy Akridge of Swainsboro, GA.
His Half-Sister: Cameron Thompson of Sandersville, GA
One Grandchild: Markell Akridge of Swainsboro, GA.
Niece: Taylor Akridge
