Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Bernie Johnson, age 84 of Ellenwood, GA who passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at the Kendred Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11:00AM in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Elder Tommy Rountree officiating.
Interment will be in the Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Garfield, GA.
The family will receive friend at Durden-Hudson Funeral Home Friday evening from 6-8 PM
Pallbearers are Greg Johnson Jr., Daniel Johnson, Richard Taylor, Jack Webb, Jerry Webb and Ike Webb.
Mr. Johnson was born in Twin City and lived many years near Atlanta, GA. He was a retired truck driver and was married to Jeanette Daniels Johnson for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Estus and Leckie Muns Johnson.

Five Sisters: Eusteen Belding of Augusta, GA, Fronell Jones of Hephzibah, GA, Betty Lanier and Dot Willis both of Twin City, GA and Jewell Martin of Swainsboro GA.
Five Grandchildren: Laura Avery, Greg Johnson Jr., Ashley Johnson, Daniel Johnson and Meagan Johnson.
Two Great-Grandchildren: Jordan and Owen
