Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Teresa McMurry Watson, age 47, of Twin City, GA on Sunday, February 21, 2010, at the Uni-Health Post Acute Care of Swainsboro after an extended illness.
Funeral services are Wednesday, February 24th, at 2 PM in the First Baptist Church of Swainsboro with Rev. Josh Hughes and Gil Riggs officiating.
Interment will be in the Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Watson will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers are Stanley Farthing, George Ratchford, Scott Cochran, Jonathan Scott, Al Evans, Henry Wheeler, Eddie Lewis, Tim Cumbee, Randy Hughes, Ricky Thompson, Stevie Durden and Tim Baker.
Honorary Pallbearers are members of the Christian Motorcycle Association and all of her Motorcycle Friends and Associates.
The family will receive friends at Durden-Hudson Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 PM.
Mrs. Watson, born in Union, SC, attended Swainsboro High School, was a member of the class of 1980 and was a Baptist. She had worked as a clerk for Shop Rite Pharmacy and was employed by the Emanuel County School System in the Food System and was subscription manager with US Rider News. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mirriam F. McMurry.
Teresa was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Harley. She was a founding member of the Randy Fulghum Memorial Ride and volunteered at numerous charity and community fundraisers.

One Granddaughter: Harley Neesmith of Lyons, GA
