Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of William Floyd Conley, Sr., age 66, of Swainsboro, GA on Thursday, February 4, 2010, at the Heritage Healthcare Center after an extended illness.

 

Funeral services are Sunday, February 7^th, at 2 PM in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Allen Meeks officiating.

 

Interment will be in the Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Swainsboro Rev. Joe Bedgood officiating.

 

The family will receive friends at Durden-Hudson Funeral Home Saturday evening from 6 – 8 PM.

 

Mr. Conley was a native of Richmond County, a retired mechanic and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Lenn and Ruby Riner Conley.

His Wife: Martha Ann Hooks Conley of Swainsboro, GA

 

Four Daughters: Debra Diaz, Barbara Conley, Melinda Wilkerson (Bobby) and Sheila Wheeler (Carl) all of Swainsboro, GA

 

Two Sons: William Conley, Jr. (Melissa) and Bobby Conley (Tammy) all of Swainsboro, GA

 

Six Brothers: Ronnie Conley of Lakeland, FL, Lonnie Conley of Swainsboro, GA, Lenn Conley of Avon Park, FL, Lewis Conley of Scott, GA, Arthur Conley of Swainsboro, GA and John Conley of Fayetteville, GA

 

19 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren
