Dear Family,

These have been tough days for us all and we gain strength from each other. Although I can't be there with you it makes me feel at ease knowing that you are all together to remember and rejoice in all those great things that gave Buzz that uniqueness that we all loved. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I look forward to the days ahead when we can all be together again.

RIP my brother!

I love you,
Tim

We were so saddened to learn of Buzz's recent passing. When I was assigned to Atlanta in 1999, Buzz mentored me, gave me rides to work, helped me get settled in a new environment, and was a great lunch partner. Theresa never failed to speak fondly of Buzz whenever his name surfaced. Specifically, Buzz often called Theresa while I was out of town just to see if she needed anything from the store, or office support. While this may seem insignificant, Theresa was stuck at home with three children under the age of 4. We will always remember his kindness and willingness to help others, and regret being unable to attend his funeral. Buzz made the world a better place and heaven is a better place because of his presence there.

I am so very sorry of the loss of "Buzz". Please know how greatly he will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. Recently, I asked him not to tell people we have known each other 40 years. Afterall no one needed to know how old "he" was. That brought out that distinctive laughter that I will miss so much. He was truly one of the all time greatest people I have known. Having Buzz live with us his senior year were some of my fondest memories. His jovial presence filled the house. Mom always had a soft spot for Buzz. A separate set of rules just for Buzz as well. I will always treasure the many memories.

The right words are often hard to find at a time like this. Words to comfort and express the grief that we feel for you during this time of loss. However, I hope knowing that we feel your hurt and hope for your healing will in some way bring comfort to you and your family. I know Buzz is not in pain any longer and pray for you all. God Bless

My dearest Sarah & family,

My heart, love & prayers go out to you & your family. I am so sorry for your loss. Too many of us have experienced the loss of a love one by cancer and often the only comfort is that they are in God's hand. There is no pain there. God bless and guide you through this time.

love,

Debra, Kirstin & Kenny

Family of Buzz,

I was shocked to google Buzz and find about his passing. I had not spoken with him in years. I worked with him out in Evanston, Wyoming back in 1980-1981. I have such fond memories of him and his dog. I was in a very abusive relationship at that time and Buzz opened his home to me many times to stay. I honestly don't know how I would be here today were it not for his friendship and support. I have looked for him prior to now but never could find a listing. Again, my thoughts and prayers are with all of his family. God bless you all.
