Dear Irene and Family,
As you know, we truly loved Alvie. He was a wonderful veteran, Lions Club stalwart, and a fellow Methodist. It will be hard for us all, not having his cheerful and unselfish presence around us any more. We will all surely miss him, but take consolation in knowing how well he was loved by all who knew him. God bless Alvie.
