Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Lula Baker Baxley, age 90, of Garfield, GA on Monday, March 12, 2012 at the Emanuel Medical Center Nursing Home.
 
Graveside services are Thursday, March 15th, at 11 AM in the Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Garfield, GA with Rev. Franklin Sasser officiating.
 
The family will receive friends at Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
 
Mrs. Baxley was born in Louisville, AL and was a member of Mt Olivet Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her grandson; Tony Baker, daughter-in-law; Wanda Baker and a sister; Benetta Dykes
 
Survivors include:
 
One Daughter: Bonnie Finch (Bobby) of Garfield, GA
 
Two Sons: Mack Baker of Garfield, GA and Johnny Baker (Debra) of Sylvester, GA
 
One Sister: Rebecca Joan Westbrook of Clayton, AL
 
Eight Grandchildren: Scott Baker, Tony Baker, Jason Baker, Tim Parks, April Baskin, Kelly Ann Cheek, Kayla Marie Paulk and Jonathan David Baker
 
Eleven Great-Grandchildren: Rebecca Baker, Kimberly Baker, Christopher Baker, Anthony “Tony” Baker, Austin Parks, Brianna Parks, Cody Parks, MacKenzie Leeann Baker, Harper Isabelle Paulk, Kailee Baskin, and Abbie Baskin
